SaskTel International (SI) managed a turnkey project to replace over 1500km of old open wire facilities carrying telephone, train signaling and trackside communications with a fibre optic network between Morogoro and Dodoma in Tanzania.
SI completed all design work, engineering, implementation, installation, testing and commissioning for the project. SI completed all systems planning and installation services from fibre splicing and training of Tanazania Railway Corporation (TRC) personnel to commissioning of multiplex and NMS elements.
